We have been craft bakers in Germany since 2009 and now are baking every day and night at 1 Islington High street, in The Angel Building.
Our goal is to provide our customers with the best bread in town
This requires two key factors :
Firstly, the expertise, daily care and patience needed to produce at an outstanding level: good bread takes craftsmanship and making good bread takes time.
Secondly, we only use the best ingredients we can find. All our breads, pastries, sandwiches and drinks are based on 100% organically grown ingredients and do not use any additives.
Quality is our most important aim, and the way we do things organic ingredients are a prerequisite this.
We give our bread what it needs to be at its best - time, care and organic, locally sourced ingredients.

Quality is at the core of who we are.
Every loaf, bun and pastry is baked in house by our own bakers hands, using only using organic certified ingredients.
And in this time of 'fast food' we take our time to ensure our long dough process form an exceptional product.
Whether you’re savoring a crusty sourdough loaf, one of our signature cinnamon rolls or a soft rye bread, each bite will tell a story of care and craft.
Philosophy
Our bakeries embrace and appreciate the essence of our craft: The glass-fronted baking area allows you to experience bread culture in a variety of ways: not only to taste it, but to see, hear and smell it as well. We welcome spectators large and small and our bakers are always free to have a chat and share their knowledge with the community.
Sustainability
We believe in sustainable management. Since our founding, we have been sourcing all our ingredients from organic farming and our bakery in Islington partners exclusively with organic UK suppliers. We have been certified by OF&G. Our bakeries save on transport routes because we bake right in the heart of the city. We are conscious in our approach to food: Unsold bakes goods are donated, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
For us, sustainability also means setting new standards in the way we work together. We invest in apprenticeships and long term relationships with our employees.
